As distinctive element of the city presents the Yayabo bridge which together with the historic center and the Major Parish Church.
Ciego de Ávila is also known as the City of Porches. Many of their houses have these characteristic porches in front of the one-story houses covered with stucco ceilings. The narrowest province of Cuba has the Jardines del Rey archipelago, whose Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo islands are the ideal tourist destinations for splendid beach vacations.
Santa María del Puerto del Príncipe, where the conservation of colonial architecture is best appreciated, with the old houses of clay tiles and cobbled streets, has the largest historic center in the country with 330 hectares, where the Christian seal is shown- Muslim left by the Andalusians who arrived in the 16th century. The large tinajones are proudly displayed to the visitor as you tour this wonderful city.
Las Tunas, Balcony of the Cuban East, displays its architecture in various styles, among which the colonial, art deco and eclectic stand out in most of its buildings, hides in each of its streets and walkways a rich cultural background that tells the story of an entire province, in combination with paradisiacal virgin beaches with crystal clear waters and white sand that make an unforgettable environment, do not forget to visit Plaza Martiana and Casa Insólita.
